Our Chairman, Md. Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, started Stevedoring business in the year 1990 and at present he is an Elected Member of Parliament from the ruling Party.

1) M/s. A & J Traders as stevedore is mainly involved in the operation of container vessels and Main Line operators (MLOs).In addition to this we operate Dry Bulk Carriers, Oil tankers and Bulk cargo.

From 16.05.2007 Bangladesh Government changed stevedores as Berth Operator and accordingly all berths are allocated / distributed among the Berth Operators. In this procedure at present we are one of the Berth Operators. Accordingly as a Berth Operator we are now handling all operators all kinds of vessels including cargo either containerized or bulk or tanker as per CPAs Berthing Schedule and as a Berth Operator handling/operating 150 vessels per year in average.
